Soil Nailing – Shot-Crete

Soil Nailing with Shot-Crete applications on inclined weathered rock, alluvial and rock surfaces are primarily executed to create slope stability and protect those surfaces of the atmospheric influences. After cleaning such surfaces from organic matters, steel mesh will be fixed on them and all will be covered by Shot-Crete.

Depending on the inclination and/or the depth, the reinforcement amount and the shotcrete thickness will vary and the lateral support with nails will become necessary, eventually. Deep excavations will be done with berms (terraced) for safety reasons.
