Bored Pile

It is one of the oldest application in geotecnical engineering. Applications were made with a three-leg tripod in the past and now it is built with modern machines with high technology.

They are constructed by drilling circular cross-sections upto the desired depth, and then by placing reinforcement cage and concrete.

Generally, they can be drilled to a depth of 40-50m between 45cm and 120cm wide diameters. In some special applications, larger diameters and depths are required which needs local experience, quality workmanship, and machine technology.
